Fourteen Yanoon Kiwifruit Varieties Granted Plant Variety Rights in a Single Batch

On 21 November 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China issued Announcement No. 971, officially granting Plant Variety Rights (PVR) to 2,843 varieties spanning 98 crop species. Among the recipients, Yanoon obtained PVR for 14 new kiwifruit varieties: "Yanoon 13," "Yanoon 15," "Yanoon 17," "Yanoon 18," "Yanoon 19," "Yanoon 21," "Yanoon 22," "Yanoon 23," "Yanoon 24," "Yanoon 25," "Yanoon 27," "Yanoon 28," "Yanoon 29," and "Yanoon 33."

With this milestone, Yanoon now holds a total of 25 kiwifruit varieties protected by plant variety rights. These include green-, gold-, and red-fleshed types, with maturity periods covering early, mid-, and late-season stages. Together, they form a distinctive and well-structured varietal matrix, offering enhanced options for both growers and consumers.
