Yanoon BioTech and MIKO Signed Agreement on Commercialization of New Kiwifruit Cultivars

From January 3rd to 5th, 2016, Mr Colin Stevenson, Director of MIKO Asia Limited, visited Yanoon BioTech. The two companies signed an agreement on January 4th for the commercialization of Yanoon kiwifruit cultivars. According to the agreement, Yanoon BioTech and MIKO will form long-term partnership, and Yanoon BioTech will grant MIKO company the exclusive rights for testing and commercialization of Yanoon series kiwifruit cultivars outside of China. The two companies started contact in early 2013. Since then, they have had frequent mutual visits and exchange of ideas, developed broad and deep understanding of each other, and finally reached the cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, testing and commercialization of Yanoon kiwifruit cultivars will start in Chile, Europe, South Korea, South Africa, Australia and USA from 2016. It is expected that the cooperation will have a significant impact for the upgrading of kiwifruit cultivars and development of the kiwifruit industry.
