The YANOON-KIWIKO Kiwifruit Field Day 2024 was successfully held from September 1st to 3rd, 2024, at Yanoon BioTech in Changsha, China.

The Field Day was attended by 13 foreign guests from various countries, including New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, and Australia. The event also welcomed senior executives from Yanoon BioTech's domestic partners, Chibi Shenshan Xingnong Company, and QiFeng Fruit Company of Shaannxi province.

On the morning of September 2nd, a symposium took place, during which Dr. Wang Zhongyan, the Chairman of Yanoon BioTech, delivered a special presentation on "Kiwifruit Breeding at Yanoon". Dr. Wang provided a comprehensive overview of Yanoon's research on breeding high-end cultivars of kiwifruit. Subsequently, Mr. Murray Malone, the General Manager of KiwiKo, gave a detailed introduction to the performance of Yanoon kiwifruit varieties in various trial regions around the world.

In the afternoon, the attendees had the opportunity to visit Yanoon Jinjing Research Station, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the company's new kiwifruit cultivars.

On September 3rd, some guests visited Yanoon-authorized commercial kiwifruit orchards located in Quyuan Management District. This visit allowed them to further explore the commercial cultivation performance of Yanoon's kiwifruit cultivars.

The participants were deeply impressed by the activities of the Field Day and highly praised the new kiwifruit cultivars developed by Yanoon. We firmly believe that the success of this Field Day will significantly contribute to the global promotion of Yanoon's exceptional kiwifruit cultivars.
